Liqueur and coffee are the perfect combination
Tasters have shown that liqueurs are ideal for mixing with coffee. Drinks such as Fernet, whisky, and cognac unfold aromas and flavors that seduce and invite consumers when combined with coffee.
Amaro Fernet
Fernet is made from rhubarb, chamomile, saffron, cardamom, oregano, and myrrh. It has three virtues: it is an intense liquor, bitter, and of prolonged flavor. It can be combined with a ristretto coffee to nuance its bitterness and harmonize with coffee’s aromatic notes.
Single malt whisky
Good whisky is valued for its years of aging, and the ristretto highlights the virtues of this liqueur if you choose one with 12 years of maturation. Preferably, choose a whisky that has been stored in oak barrels with sherry to enhance the fruity notes and combine them with the aroma of wood.
Cognac XO
The cognac XO or Napoleon is a liqueur with at least six years of aging and has an intense aroma with wood notes, spiced fruits, and vanilla. Its flavor is soft and persistent for a long time, and its strong aroma is balanced with espresso. The senses of taste and smell can differentiate both drinks due to cognac’s wide range of fragrances.
